Hi everyone, Well - it seems that having been saying it for months I have finally broken free of the chains of facebook! It's really not all that hard if you really try. No longer do I have to read an endless torrent of moaning about the weather, traffic, cryptic attention seeking statusues (or should that be stati?), a load of links to crappy bands that I don't like or have never heard of, supposedly "amusing" pictures and all the rest! I'm free! OK - I am not totally off facebook, I need it for work, and the PM facility is very handy - fortunately if someone PM's me I get an email so I can come on and respond - a lot of my work comes through facebook, also we have our little racing game on Saturdays which I can't abandon bearing in mind how far I am winning it by. Having a party this weekend and want to celebrate the Jubilee? Not sure what music to play. Well Bicester Blogger has done all the hard work for you - today I am proud to unveil my "JUBILEE PLAYLIST". This has been the result of many hours of work and research by myself to come up with the ultimate list. Here are the criteria I used. Here are the goals I set myself, and how I went about achieving them. 1) To showcase music from across the Queen's reign. 2) To include as many different types of music as possible. 3) To include only British artists. 4) To provide appeal to all ages and tastes. 5) To have a running time around 5 hours. 6) To be useable as a party playlist, or for personal listening. I thought tonight I would give you the run down on how my night's DJ'ing went. What was so special about tonight? Well some might say nothing - it's just another gig. However - as I am sure Duncan and Mike will agree there is no such thing as "just another gig" if there was, anyone could do it. And to the person who's party it is, or now was, it's a very special night! Now tonight's gig (or booking if Russ is reading - he says only real musicians have "gigs") was one of those "surprise ones".
